XMLRPC is almost there...

I normally don't post entries like this - but I just wanted to share my excitement. XMLRPC is almost there. It was working fine for me, but Lola is helping me test and has found some new bugs. But I really think it is almost there. The first rev won't do very good error handling (actually it does none), but if nothing goes wrong, it works great. (Just like Windows.) I have to admit - it was kind of cool being able to write a BlogCFC post in another client.

I'm also pretty certain that this will be a 5.5 release. I feel like with all the new features, it really makes sense. I'm also going to go ahead and add basic editing for the slide show support.

BobW's Gravatar How does one invoke an RPC in CF? For example, the equivalent of the Send() method in PHP? Also, need to know the CFML to create the RPC client object.

Where can I find this info? Thanks in advance!

Raymond Camden's Gravatar Check the xmlrpc.cfc included in the zip. This code, which Roger B wrote - also has code to generate XML-RPC information.
