BlogCFC 5.9.2.003

Just released a minor update. It hits a few OpenBlueDragon issues and adds a major performance boost to getEntries(). The modification probably won't be noticeable until you get a significant amount of blog entries.

David's Gravatar Do comment subscriptions not work? I am not getting emails.

Raymond Camden's Gravatar You only posted one comment. You wouldn't get another email until someone else (like me) posts a comment. You have to ensure you click 'Subscribe' on every comment, or use Subscribe to Comments link above.

David's Gravatar Sorry, I know this probably isnt the best place to discuss this
but I wanted to test it... I received your comment email, but I
have 2 comments above yours that I made after i
subscribed to comments, shouldnt I have received
emails on those? Do you not receive an email
for comments you make yourself? Thanks for your help!

Raymond Camden's Gravatar Nope, you should not get emails on your own comments. To me - that wouldn't make sense.

David's Gravatar Is there any way to subscribe to a specific category vs subscribing to an entire blog? I am trying to build a site for my HOA and would like any new blog entry regarding our neighbrohood watch to be shot ouyt to everyone... and then normal announcements would be on a per subscription basis... basically everyone is by default subscribed to the neighborhood watch category

Raymond Camden's Gravatar You can 'subscribe' to a category RSS, but in terms of getting emails, the answer is no.
